How calls are billed
You see the price per minute before you dial. You pay for every started minute, from the moment the call is answered (an answering machine or a phone menu counts). A call nobody answers is free. Before the call, the money for the longest possible conversation is set aside; after it, you are charged only for the minutes you used and the rest goes straight back to your balance.
Top-ups
Top-ups are $10, $20 or $50 by card. New accounts have limits on how much can be topped up in the first week. If a top-up is declined by the limits, the money is returned to your card; banks usually show it in 5–10 working days.
Payments under review
Occasionally a payment is held for review for up to 24 hours before it is added to your balance. If it is not approved, it is refunded to your card in full.
Refunds
The unused part of a top-up can be refunded to your card on request. Write to support with the email of your account.
Frozen accounts
If a payment is disputed with your bank or flagged as suspicious, the account is frozen: you cannot start new calls or top-ups until support has checked it. A call that is already running is not cut off.
What you cannot call
Emergency numbers, premium-rate and paid numbers, and countries that are not on our rates page are not supported. Callz is not a replacement for a mobile phone in an emergency.
